We have 2 sump pumps drawing 9 amps each at a combined 3000 watts. During a heavy rain they may at times run simultaneously. In the event of a power outage can the elite be utilized as a UPS and have the pumps plugged into the ac outlets on the generator while the generator is plugged into the wall outlet full time.

What is the life cycle of the battery: how many times can the battery be charged before it hits 50% degradation.

The typical lifespan of an SLA battery is 500 to 800 full charge cycles.

I have two questions. First, you are using led-acid batteries if I read the promo material correctly. Is there a reason you did not opt for Nimh or L-ion? The price of your unit is much lower than others so I assume the issue was the cost of batteries but it seems your run times are not as long as the might be and I am assuming this is the battery technology. Second question is can two of the Nature's Cenerators be connected to run together boosting the run times?

-Assuming that these solar panels fit the solar panel input, you wouldn't be able to maximize the 200/300 -watt charging speed that is indicated on the specification of the Generator therefore, the advertized charging speed will probably be longer than expected.

2. Can I charge my generator with both the solar panels and my AC power cord together at the same time?
-Yes, you can definitely do this without any issues.

How long would this generator run a 70 watt blower motor on our gas furnace? Also, can the generator be charging from wind or solar while it’s in use? Thanks

Hi, Laureen. A 70 watt blower will run approximately 9 hours on a standard generator with a 720 watt-hour battery. whereas, it should last 15 hours on an Elite Generator with 1200 Watt-hour. Usage time can be extended when using a wind/solar charger which can be used while the generator is running. Additional power pods will as well extend the battery capacity. Hi! I have been using your products for a while and like almost all of them very much ….. Do the batteries exist to hook up serially in the back to extend battery life? Does each battery pod have a solar input? I have been trying to reach your corp for six months regarding a wind turbine, but no one has responded. I like your products, I have purchased a lot from you, and I desire to buy more, but it is impossible if no one will ever respond to a basic question especially when your team kindly promised to address a relatively small issue. Please help me gain confidence in your corp again so i might purchase your new products. The older products have been fantastic. I simply had trouble with the turbine and the support was so dismal, it needs to be fixed to buy more product. I understand it has been a pandemic, but zero response in months is not acceptable. Regarding your inquiry, you can daisy chain a 12V battery to extend the battery capacity of your Nature's Generator.

Another option for you is to add a power pod. The power pod will extend the battery capacity and at the same time will give you an option to add more solar panels as it has a solar panel input.

The run times listed show that this unit will power a full size refrigerator for 8-12hours. Is this correct?

We have a system available, which is the Nature's Generator System for Wall Air Conditioners priced at $4,999.99. This is compatible with a tiny home, RV, or cabin and we tested this system to run a 6,000 BTU wall air conditioner. It runs the A/C for an estimated 16 hours on a single charge. I regret to inform you that, our Generator will not be able to support the required wattage of a 13,500 BTU air conditioning unit. Not to worry, we continue to innovate and improve our devices to support devices with very high wattage requirements.

An older solar Gen of mine, blew it's transformer last week (NOT YOUR PRODUCT) and in my research for repair, discovered that the company that used to sell it is somewhat shady in it's service. Not listed with the (BBB). Lot's and lots on negativity in feedback! (Problems) Until the transformer burned up, I have had nothing but good luck with it's usage since my purchase in (2016) but with what they charge for a replacement transformer, one of your Natures Generator Power Pod's is $200 cheaper. Which is why I placed my order last week for a Power Pod to expand my existing unit. But that's where I get to my question (from the older burned out unit) That unit was manufactured in China and probably why that other company doesn't carry it any longer nor does too well on the service side either! Your company seems to be well stocked with on-hand product. On your web-site I see that your based in California but I find nothing on where your product is manufactured. Your reference to the new "Elite" generator coming in soon lets me think on this. Is this product manufactured overseas?

Based on the 720 watts continous our Nature's Generator Elite would be able to provide power for about 1hr to 1.5 hours on battery alone (on a full charge). With the solar panels connected it would help some, but you are still drawing more power than the solar panels can bring in so it wont add to much more run time.

I just received my unit and it says charge it for 24hrs the 1st use and every 4 months thereafter. It also states that when storing the unit, keep it plugged in? Not sure If I can just disconnect it after the initial charge and then charge it every 4 months or keep it plugged in all the time? I’m not sure at the s point?

After the initial charge, you can disconnect the system and store it away, it does not need to remain plugged it but it will not hurt it.  If you do disconnect and store away, we recommed to recharge the unit every 3 to 4 months.

I have a KIA EV6 with a V2L output that can output 15 amps at 120VAC with its bidirectional inverter. If there was a power outage, there may be brief periods when I would like to have more than 15 amps, so I wanted to use this for the 30 amp output for brief periods, and then I would like to recharge it from the car during the times when I would not need much power. The car would also supply power to the smaller loads while it is recharging the Nature's Generator. It looks like this unit would have a charge current of around 1.6 amps. I think this would all be OK. I could either run the Nature's Generator as a UPS or just charge it up from the car when it needs it. Obviously, as a UPS, it would then power all of the loads during an outage, but since the output could exceed the charging current, the battery would be discharging sometimes. Would I then be able to see the state of the battery while in UPS mode? Are there any issues with either of these usage scenarios? Thanks.

How does snow accumulation affect the operation and charging of the generator?
