If I replace the lead acid battery with a lthum ion battery. Will your system still charge it .Thanks LOUIE
Hi Louis, Lithium-Ion batteries will not work/charge on the generator, mainly because Lithium batteries require a specific type of battery management system that our generator does not use. Why is there a small blue sticker on the side of my solar panels that says Winter on it?
Hi Melanie, Thank you for your inquiry. This is the position of the solar panel when it is winter and summer. When it is winter the angle of the solar panel must be a 45-degree angle and for the summer it should be a 30-degree angle. I want to add on a couple of deep cycle lead acid batteries externally, can this be done? I am looking at an off-grid system for my farm and other brand batteries would give me way more amp/hrs.
Hi Joe, thank you for your query. By theory, yes this is doable. However, we do not highly recommend this due to possible safety concerns, it would still be best to purchase a power pod. If you have further queries, you may reach us directly via support@naturesgenerator.com

What is the on shelf storage life of the 60Ah battery before charging? I want to have one in reserve.
Hi, SLA batteries can last up to 3-5 years. We suggest that you charge them to full, once every 3-4 months to maximize the battery's maximum charge cycle. If you have additional queries, please let us know via support@naturesgenerator.com.

Where are the fuses located and how are they replaced?
Hello Kim,
Thanks for your inquiry.
The fuses of the standard generator are located at the back of the generator, above the port where to connect the power pod. If ever that there's a need to replace them and the generator is still under warranty, we can pick up the generator and replace the fuse for you.
If the generator is out of warranty, you can buy these fuses in the Auto parts store.
For the Elite version, they are located inside the generator. These fuses are resettable and there's no need to replace them.
Should you have any concerns, please email us at support@naturesgenerator.com

My husband said that we may have to jump the battery if it hasn’t been used in a while. What is the procedure to use a 15 amp charger in the house?
Hi Karen,
Thank you for your question, It's the same method on how you usually jump-start dead car battery. For the Nature's Generator, you'll have to remove the top panel to expose the connections to the battery, which you may see how on this link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3FUsYbFMs4
If you have further questions, please email us directly at support@naturesgenerator.com, we'll be more than happy to answer all your questions. -

Does this work in the Nature's Generator Elite? If not, are there specific batteries to buy for that?
Hello-
Thanks for reaching out to us!
No, this particular battery is for our Standard Nature's Generator so it is smaller. The battery our Nature's Generator Elite has and uses is the same as our Power Pod battery, please see link below.

Can you upgrade to a higher Ah battery or a longer lasting battery?
This battery is already the type of long lasting deep cycle battery. Due to the size consideration, it is suggested to use this replacement battery to fit in Nature's Generator. You may consider adding additonal Power Pod(s) to increase the capacity. Thanks

Hi if you are not using the generator and it is stored what is the best way to keep the batteries charged properly.
We'd suggest to connect the generator to the solar panel all the time to have it charged. Please turn off the main switch while being charged to save the energy.

What are the dimensions of this battery?
The battery dimension is 10.2" x 6.6" x 8.5". Thank you for the interest in Nature's Generator.

can i replace a 60ah battery with 100ah battery
The 60Ah battery in the Nature's Generator cannot be replaced with a 100Ah battery due to the 100Ah being bigger in size. If you're interested in expanding your battery capacity you can daisy chain either a Nature's Generator Power Pod which includes all the necessary connects for daisy chaining to Nature's Generator or your own external 100Ah battery using a customized daisy chain cable that we can help you get.

I have a natures generator and a power pod. The housing is green colored. By mistake I left if on without the solar panels and they both drained. Now it says low power only. I imagine I need to replace the battery. What battery is its replacement? The 60ah or the 100 ah?
Hi Carlos,
Thanks for your query! If you have the Elite 3600-watt Generator and an Elite pod, you need to replace the battery using the 100Ah battery, if you do have the standard 1800-watt generator, you'll need to replace the battery using the 60Ah battery. The battery of the standard power pod also uses a 100Ah battery, so the only 60Ah battery is the standard generator. If you have any follow-up questions, you may reach our support directly via (800) 203-7516, or email us at support@naturesgenerator.com We'll be more than happy to assist you!
