Hello Nature's Generator, By hooking the Transfer kit up to my house electrical box, will that set up in essence reverse my power usage from my power provider & thus can reduce my power bill? Thank you.

When you say it can used with generators up to 30 A, you only mean Nature's Generator brand generators, correct? This will not work with a gas powered generator that is manufactured by someone other than Nature's Generator, correct?

What size breakers does it come with and what brands are the breaker slots compatible with?

Hi Sam, thank you for your query. This 6-circuit, 30 Amp manual transfer switch is designed for fast installation (indoors) in a home, office, or small business. It is completely pre-wired and enables the electrical system of the building to accept the power of a portable generator to run up to six single-pole circuits and any pair of single-pole circuits can be used as a double-pole circuit.

It allows you to power electrical appliances, devices, and lighting during a power outage. This transfer switch is completely codes compliant and keeps the generator power isolated from the utility power at all times. Circuit breakers are 1 in. interchangeable and can be changed to different sizes and brands that are compatible and within the maximum circuit size ratings.

Can you use any type of transfer switch for an Elite system or does it have to be this one? For example, I have another generator (propane) to run my well pump and I want to be able to use a 8-slot 110-220V transfer switch for either power method (solar or propane). Is this OK?

Hi, Unfortunately, the power transfer kit solely works with Nature's Generator. In order for a device to work when there's a power outage, the device should be connected to a wall outlet being powered by the power transfer kit. The answer is, No. This one is solely for the elite and the connection is different therefore it's not compatible.

Hi! I’m planning a part time off grid system for my detached garage. Will this kit include the transfer cable? If so, will it be a 4 prong 30 amp generator to transfer switch, or a three prong regular outlet plug from generator to 4 prong 30 amp plug to the transfer switch?

how long are the supplied wires to connect to junction box

Can you power a double pole 30 amp breaker for the AC unit in my Panel?? Would I use a 30 amp breaker on circuits 1 and 2 then Connect 1 leg of each double pole in the panel to circuits 1 and 2 in the Transfer switch?

Hi, I am looking into 6 circuit Transfer Kit as a solution for using my 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 to power key circuits for my home in the event of an outage. It appears that the switch is designed to be installed immediately adjacent to the electrical panel. In that case, I will need a pretty long 15 amp/12gauge extension cord to reach it from the closest spot I can get the Ioniq, certainly more than 30 feet but less than 50 feet. Does this present any concerns?

This panel has all 10 AWG wiring to each breaker, so it could support a couple of 20-amp breakers in the mix??

My main panel has three circuits with 15A AFCI breakers that I would like to wire into the transfer switch. Is it possible to replace three of the regular breakers with AFCI ones? My concern is there isn’t enough room to handle the longer AFCI breakers. Do you have any recommended manufacturer and model numbers for replacement AFCI breakers?

With the proper adapter, could the input energy sourcing from a NEMA 5-15, 120 volt, be used. Specifically, I'm looking to see if the Vehicle to Load generators on modern EV's could be used to feed the input power to this.
