Is there a knock out in the rear of the box? Also what is the largest wire to fit? will a #8 wire work?

Thank you for reaching out. Yes, there is a knockout in the rear of the box. The hole diameter is approximately 5mm, it should fit 8 AWG. However, 30 amp usually requires 10AWG only.
