you mention that the "entire" (??) unit is not waterproof. (1) Rather than lugging this a good distance from a secure location--and re-setup-- to the selected sun spot, do you offer a suitable, heavy-duty cover? (2) are the wheels sturdy over rough terrain? (3) can I hook up a power strip (recommended joules?) and attach an extension cord, to say, the refrigerator and one other applicance? Thanks!!

1. Unfortunately, we do not offer covers for our Nature's Generator or Power Pod.  The only items that are water proof are the solar panels, solar panel cable and wind turbine.
2. The wheels are sturdy, but not designed to be take through really rough terrain.
3. Yes, you are able to hook up a power strip and extension cords.

what does the power transfer kit do?

Hello-

The Power Transfer Kit gets hard wired to the breaker box of the home.  It has 4 circuits that you can dedicate to 4 circuits on the breaker box to have th generator power when the electricity goes out.

Can I solar charge the generator while running off of it? Can you link up two of the 100w solar panels to charge the 1800w model?

Yes, you are able to recharge the generator and use it at the same time.  In order to connect two 100W solar panels to one Nature's Generator, besides our 50ft solar panel cable, you will need an MC4 Branch Connector.  This will allow you to connect two 100W solar panels to one cable and then connect to our generator.

what size gas generator would I need to charge the battery if I had to?

Our Nature's Generator can be charged via AC outlet as well. So any gas generator that has an AC outlet will be able to recharge the battery in the generator.

1. Does your unit connect to a 120/208 service? 2. Can you provide a 2KW system 3. Can you have a battery runrime of 390AH? 4. Can I use a higher wattage panel? Say 325W?

1. The unit is to connect 120V only. 
2. The generator has 1800 watt power ouput
3. The generator itself has 12V60Ah battery, and the power pod has 12V100Ah battery. You need extra 3 power pods to acheive 360Ah battery or extra 4 power pods to achieve 460Ah.
4. Nature's Generator is 12V system. Usually the higher wattage panels are for higher voltage than 12V. So it is not recommended to use 325 watt solar panel.

What is the "electric start" that referred to?

Hi. I'm a little confused by the 1800 model number and the total output of just 720 watt hours. Is 1800 the peak output, like you would need to start a larger appliance, and the 720 refers to the total available wattage for running the connected devices? Also, is there a minimum recommended or required wattage capacity i.e. like a percentage of the total wattage that you need to maintain to avoid doing harm to the battery? Thanks! Hi, Thank you for being interested in Nature's Generator. 1800 watts is the rated output power of Nature's Genearotor, which means it can power most of the houshold appliances, like microwave, refrigeratror, sump pump, lights and etc. 720 watt hours is the capacity of the battery. 720 watt hour means it can run a 72 watt devices for approximately 10 hours (72 watt x 10 hours = 720 watt hours).  Nature's Generator has the comprehensive built-in protecitons like over wattage proteciton, over temperature protection, low voltage protections and etc.  It will automatically enter into protective mode when it senses any situations that may harm the system.
