  • Can use tandem breakers in this to connect more circuits?

  • If you upgrade the wiring to 4 or 6 AWG, can you install a 2 pole 50 amp breaker?

    Unfortunately, you cannot install a 2-pole 50 amp breaker.

    The 1L & 2L or 1R & 2R configurations can be upgraded to a 50A breaker, but the rocker switches are rated for a maximum of 30A.

  • How long are the black and red wires? I’m concerned they are not long enough to reach all the breakers in the main panel.

  • Is this suitable to be mounted on the exterior of a home?

    Thank you for reaching out. Nature's Generator Power Transfer Switch is designed to be installed indoors. However, if you're planning to install it outdoors, please ensure it will not get wet since it is not water-resistant.
