You are correct. More solar panels mean faster charging. However, keep in mind that the 3600W generator (Elite) can only accommodate up to 3 solar panels (300W in total) and another 3 solar panels for the power pod. 

For the run time, 580W of continuous use will give you an average of 3-4 hours of run time on the fully charged elite generator and elite power pod.

Hi, Thank you for your query. This 6-circuit, 30 Amp manual transfer switch is designed for fast installation (indoors) in a home, office, or small business. It is completely pre-wired and enables the electrical system of the building to accept the power of a portable generator to run up to six single-pole circuits and any pair of single-pole circuits can be used as a double-pole circuit. Hi, thank you for your query. No, you will only need 2 MC4 branch connectors and 2 50 FT solar panel cables, in order to daisy-chain 4 Solar panels. I appreciate your time reaching us. Our batteries last 4 to 5 years. The typical life span of an SLA battery is 500 to 800 cycles. If you don't use it as much it will definitely last you longer than the provided time frame.

As for the generator, there is really no method to winterize it, please see the operating temperature, and storage temperature guide below:

• Operating temperature: 32-104 °F (0-40 °C)

Yes basically you can run the same electronics for a longer period of time, however, please be advised about the difference in wattage since, wattage is directly proportional to the time the electronic will run when connected to the Generator. Another is that some electronic's watts may change while starting / continuously running.

Regarding your concern about this 3600-Watt Solar Powered Generator with 4 Solar Panels and power pod runs a 21-cubic-foot side-by-side refrigerator-freezer that demands about 780 watts when in operation? Based on your above Normal Use Refrigerator - 26-40 Hours, would this configuration provide uninterrupted solar power to the refrigerator or can it be configured so uninterrupted power can be accomplished in an extended 30 day AC power outage?

Conventional refrigerators typically have a starting wattage of 800-1200 watt-hours/day, and a running wattage of around 150-watt hours/day. Refrigerators are reactive devices that require additional power to start because they contain an electric motor, but significantly fewer watts to run as they remain on.

The Above mentioned configuration will allow the refrigerator to run for the mentioned hours on a single solar charge. After which, you then again need to recharge the Generator to full to achieve the same results.

We do have a 3 to 1 MC4 Branch Connector on our website, this will allow you to connect 3 solar panels to one cable.  By adding another solar panel, it can increase your recharge time by 30%.

Our solar panels and solar panel cables are weather proof, so they will not have any issues in the rain or snow.  The only items that are not weather proof are the Nature's Generator and Power Pod.

There is no limit to the amount of Power Pod Elite you can connect to the system, it all comes down to the run time you are looking to get.
