Nature's Generator has taken considerable time to review the different battery options.  While both provide pros and cons, we ultimately decided to choose the safer and more affordable option, which is sealed-lead acid.  Sealed lead acid has been around for centuries and is proven safe.  Additionally, there are significant cost savings and an overall feeling of safety with this proven technology.  It also has the ability to infinitely daisy-chain power pods to grow your system which cannot be accomplished by other technologies.

The typical life span of an SLA battery is 500 to 800 full charge cycles.

We recommend charging Nature's Generators for at least 24hrs when the product is first received.  Thereafter, if you do not plan on using it, we recommend that you charge it 100% prior to putting it away.  Additionally, we highly recommend that you recharge the generator at least once every four months.  This will keep the battery active and provide optimum performance when the time comes to use it.

Hi, thank you for your query, The Elite gold system has a battery capacity of 1200-WH. Running 150-Watts on this system, assuming that nothing else is being powered, it should run your cooler for approximately 7 to 8 hours at most, on a single charge. For your generator and power pod set up, you can connect 2 solar panels and the wind turbine on the generator, and the other 2 solar panels go to the power pod

The total wattage of your appliances is 184 Watts. If you want to continuously run all of these for 24 hours you might need to add 2 - 3 power pods, and adding a power pod will also require you to add solar panels to charge the extra power pods. 2 solar panels for each power pod will be the recommended setup.

Everything that you need to run the generator is included in the box except the pole/tower that you need for the wind turbine. Our wind turbine is designed to mount on a nominal 1.5-inch schedule 40 steel tubing or piping.  The outside diameter of the tubing or piping shall be around 1.875 to 1.900 inches.  Under no circumstances should the plastic pipe be used to construct a tower.  The tower must be capable of withstanding 160 pounds of load in the horizontal direction at the wind turbine. We recommend that you set up the wind turbine at least 20 to 30 feet above any nearby obstructions. Our Wind Turbine is a complete electrical system.  After the Wind Turbine is set up, you can just connect the cable to Nature's Generators and you are ready to go.

1. I wanted to know if it would power the ac in the airstream Bambi 16 (13,600 btu) and possibly for how long?
    a. At 13,600 BTU you are looking at about 4000 watts of power to operate the air conditioning unit.  At that power consumption our Nature's Generator Elite would not be able to power the AC system.  
2. I read that there’s an ac kit I would buy, how much are they? 
    a. Our AC system is $4,999.99, but unfortunately it would also not be able to power your AC system.  
3. Also says it won’t be ready until aug 31st? Is that the quickest?
    a. At this present time, that is the earliest date we have.  We are due to receive the shipment mid to late August.
4. And also wanted to know what your veteran discounts are.
    a. We do offer a Veteran / Military discount, we would need proof of service.  Once that is received we would provide you with a 10% discount code that can be used on our website.

The gust of wind or changing direction of wind may reduce the power generation of the Wind Turbine.
